Dear Friends of Two Wheel View / Trips for Kids Twin Cities:

Here are some events and volunteer activities coming up very soon and in the
next month with Two Wheel View / Trips for Kids Twin Cities. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

Two Wheel View, a local nonprofit organization, uses the bicycle as a tool to
expand the life experience of young people; teaching kids to overcome obstacles
on the trail and in life. TWV/TFK coordinates local, regional and international
mountain bike adventures for primarily urban youth.

Thanks for your support! Rick McFerrin

BIKE MECHANICS: This Saturday, April 17: 11:00 – 4:00 (or until all the bikes
are ready to ride): Bikes, BBQ, and BREW (or any other food or beverage of
choice). We will be working on the basic bike ABC’s: Air, Brakes and Cranks ----
help get the 23 program bikes ready to ride for the season. Activities will
include basic bike maintenance and repairs, lubing chains, fixing flats, airing
up tires to proper inflation, cleaning water bottles, adjusting and fixing
helmets, and inventory of equipment. I will fire up a few grills and have a few
coolers on hand to make this activity not seem like all work and no play. If
you want to help out, please call Rick at (612) 874-1895 to get the details on
where this will take place.

ARGENTINA SHOW: This Sunday, April 18, 4:00-6:00: “Bicycle Adventure in

last year on the Argentina Bike Trip - refreshments, giveaways, mini-raffle
(product from Surly, ERIK’s, REI and more). WHERE: Trotters Café and Bakery;
232 North Cleveland Ave; St. Paul. Donations appreciated to help Aaron Ehlers
and Blasie Pourpore (two young people from St. Paul) fundraise for a bike trip
in Argentina this summer.

MOUNTAIN BIKING: Friday, April 23: 10:00 – 1:30 mountain bike ride at the River
