[morc] MN/WI NMBP Training update

The Barmy Dogs MTB Patrol of Hayward, WI and the Backcountry Trail Patrol of Deer River and Zimmerman, MN will hold training for new National Mountain Bike Patrol members, May 21-23, 2004 at Wilde River Resort in Cable, WI. Training will start at 5PM on Friday, and will go through about 3PM on Sunday. We will be camping both nights, however Backcountry Patrol members will spend Saturday night at a dispersed campsite on the CAMBA MTB trails. This is optional for other participants. Training is open to all patrols in the region, and there are new members attending from Lutsen MTB Park and the MORC Mountain Bike Patrol. (Formerly North-Central MTB Patrol) Cost is $35.00 for NMBP/IMBA dues, and $10.00 to cover the cost of training materials, etc. Guest speakers include CAMBA's Ron Bergin, Dave Nelson from the US Forest Service and Mountain Bike Hall of Fame member Gary Crandall of the Chequamegon Fat Tire Festival! 

The session is supported by the US Forest Service, Penn Cycle, WTB, CAMBA and the Chequamegon Fat Tire Festival.

Wilde River is about 4 miles east of Cable on Co. Rd. M, Past Telemark turnoff, Cross bridge over Namakagon, Past Telemark turnoff. Cross bridge over Namakagon. Right on 2ND paved road with Wilde River sign. Right on 1st dirt road into campground.
