The report card grades create buzz, and can spur the press, land managers and other leaders to take action in your locale. We need your input to shape this year's report, and to provide accurate information about local-level issues affecting riders. Last year's report<http://www.imba.com/news/news_releases/12_05/12_16_report_card.html> recognized Scotland as a global superstar, and pointed to Virginia as a leader among U.S. states.
In addition to using our online form, you can send an e-mail to communications manager Mark Eller<mailto:markeller at imba.com> with Report Card Comments "[STATE/PROVINCE/NATION]" as the subject. Tell us how bike access is shaping up in your neck of these woods.

More About the IMBA Report Card

The IMBA Report Card provides a rallying point for mountain bikers to work with land managers and enhance riding opportunities. A few years back, Ohio advocates decided to award themselves a paltry "D" grade because they lacked legal trails. Since then, the Buckeye state has worked hard to improve things. Ohio now has one of the leading advocacy teams in the country, lots of new trails and strong relationships with other user groups. Similar turnarounds have taken place in other states -- including Kansas, Mississippi and Indiana -- that selected a poor grade, then used it to rally the troops.

Check out additional tips<http://www.imba.com/resources/organizing/report_card_pr.html> on how to leverage your state¹s grade for better trail access.
